What resets when you change it
What can’t be changed once the offer is active
This is the single most useful thing to know when a coupon misbehaves: an offer edited after a customer received their coupon leaves that coupon running on the old values. See Why isn’t a customer’s coupon working?.
Save as template
An offer can be flagged as a template and used as the starting point for new offers. Save as template sits in the form’s footer, and only appears once the offer has been saved — on a draft you are still filling in, there is nothing to flag yet. The campaign has to be saved too. Once flagged, the button reads Remove from templates. The flag has no effect on the offer itself, and can be switched on and off at any time — including after the offer has expired. A template keeps all of the original offer’s properties except its start and end dates. To build from one, add the Offer block to a campaign as usual and choose From Template in the Create Activity dialog instead of From Scratch.Screenshot needed — offers-08: Save as template, and the template in use
